Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
- As part of the Berghahn Open Anthro initiative, articles in Sibirica are published open access under a Creative Commons license. Authors must visit our License Options page to select and download their preferred license agreement. Completed and signed forms should be sent to copyright@berghahnjournals.com.
- The text is double-spaced and uses a 12-point font, and all illustration, figure, and table callouts are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
- A cover page includes the title of the article, complete contact information and biographical date for each author, a total word count, the number of tables and/or figures included, and any acknowledgments.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Copyright Notice
Authors whose submissions are accepted for publication will be asked to sign a Copyright Transfer Agreement with Berghahn Journals. Authors are responsible for securing any necessary permissions for use of images, maps, or other copyrighted material.
